메모리얼데이에 맞춰서 애틀랜타에 놀러 갔다 왔는데, 계획 중에 회를 먹는 계획이 있었다!
미국에서 싱싱한 회를 먹는 일이 없어서 크게 기대는 하지 않았는데 웬걸, 정말 싱싱했다.
매장 안에 수족관이 있어서 살아있는 생선을 떠서 먹을 수 있었다.
I went to Atlanta to celebrate Memorial Day, and as part of my plans, I had a plan to eat raw fish (회) there!
Since I had never had fresh raw fish in the United States before, I didn't have high expectations. But surprisingly, it was really fresh.
The restaurant had an aquarium inside, so I was able to select and enjoy live fish for my meal.
매장 안은 크진 않지만 한국 느낌이 나는 소품들을 이용해서 깔끔하게 잘 꾸며져 있었다.
The interior of the restaurant wasn't very spacious, but it was tastefully decorated with Korean-inspired props, giving it a neat and cozy ambiance.
롤메뉴도 사진이 있어서 보기 편했다.
It was convenient to see the menu with photos, making it easier to choose what to order.
초장, 간장, 쌈장, 취향대로 찍어먹을 수 있었다.
I was able to dip the food in various sauces such as soy sauce, ssamjang (spicy dipping sauce), and chojang (sweet and tangy dipping sauce) according to my preference.
횟집에서 먹으면 좋은 점, 밑반찬이 많이 나온다.
다 맛있었는데, 생선조림이 정말 맛있었다.
추측하건대 연어조림이었을 것 같다.
살이 쫀득하면서 부드러웠다.
Eating at a raw fish restaurant has its advantages, one of which is the generous serving of side dishes (banchan).
Everything was delicious, but the braised fish dish was particularly outstanding.
I would guess it was braised salmon.
The flesh was tender and succulent, with a delightful texture.
치즈 옥수수콘도 맛있고, 계란찜도 부드럽고 맛있었다.
사장님이 필요하면 더 달라고 하셨다.
The cheese corn was delicious, and the steamed egg was soft and flavorful.
The owner even offered to provide more if we needed.
싱싱한 낙지와 멍게를 맛볼 수 있었다.
짭조름 씁쓸한 멍게맛이 생각난다. 또 먹고 싶다.
멍게가 전복보다 가격이 더 있었지만 가격대비 정말 맛있게 먹었다.
I was able to taste fresh octopus and sea pineapple (meongge) at the restaurant.
The distinctively briny and slightly bitter taste of sea pineapple comes to mind. I crave it again.
Although sea pineapple was priced higher than abalone, it was worth the price as it was truly delicious.
회가 나온 뒤에 롤이 나오는데 우린 배고파서 롤을 먼저 가져다 달라고 해서 먹었다.
롤 위에 회를 얹어서 롤을 만들어 먹기도 할 수 있었다.
After the raw fish was served, we were so hungry that we asked for the rolls first and started eating them.
We even had the option to place the raw fish on top of the rolls and eat them as sushi rolls.
함께 나오는 롤은 기본 롤이다.
회!
싱싱한 연어와 참치, 광어, 오징어, 문어회,,, 살살 녹았다.
연어를 특히 좋아하는데 먹는 순간 기분이 너무 좋아졌다.
오징어 회도 신선해서 쫀득하고 부들부들하고 고소했다.
양이 많아서 배가 불러 회를 남길 뻔했었다.
지금 사진을 보니 다시 먹고 싶다.
Raw Fish (회)!
The fresh salmon, tuna, flounder, squid, and octopus sashimi melted in my mouth.
I particularly love salmon, and the moment I tasted it, I felt so delighted.
The squid sashimi was also fresh, chewy, tender, and had a pleasant nutty flavor.
There was a generous amount, and I almost couldn't finish it all.
Looking at the pictures now, I'm craving it all over again.
서비스로 주신 연어껍질튀김 롤??
이름이 기억이 안 나는데 생선껍질(연어로 추정)을 튀겨서 롤로 만든 메뉴였다.
바삭하게 튀겨진 생선껍질이 정말 맛있었다.
The complimentary roll with fried salmon skin?
I can't recall the exact name, but it was a dish made by frying fish skin (presumably salmon) and rolling it into a roll.
The crispy fried fish skin was truly delicious.
식사가 거의 끝날 무렵 사장님이 서비스로 주신 아가미 튀김?
이것도 이름이 기억 안 나지만 엄청 고소하고 촉촉하고 맛있었다.
고급 부위를 튀겨서 주신게 아닌가 추측 ㅎㅎ
배가 불렀지만 정말 맛있어서 큼직한 살은 다 먹었다.
Towards the end of the meal, the owner served us a complimentary dish of fried fish gills?
I can't recall the exact name, but it was incredibly savory, moist, and delicious.
I'm guessing it was fried using a premium part of the fish, hehe.
Even though I was already full, it was so tasty that I ate all of the generous portion.
우리 메뉴를 기다리면서도 손님들이 계속 와서 포장 메뉴를 받아갔다.
손님들도 정말 많고, 매장으로도 손님들이 몇 팀 들어왔었다.
회가 정말 싱싱하고, 사장님도 친절하시고, 맛도 좋았다.
회가 먹고 싶을 때 꼭 가보시길 추천합니다!
While waiting for our order, many customers kept coming in and taking away packaged meals.
There were quite a lot of customers, and several groups also dined in the restaurant.
The raw fish (회) was truly fresh, the owner was friendly, and the taste was excellent.
I highly recommend visiting when you have a craving for raw fish (회)!
