조지아 로즈웰에 있는 테이블 앤 메인! 거리 전체가 식당가로 되어있고, 미국 가정집을 식당으로 개조? 한 느낌이 든다. 한국도 가정집을 식당으로 개조한 식당이 많았는데, 미국도 똑같나 보다(아니면 미국이 먼저?ㅎㅎ) 미국 드라마나 영화에서 보던 그 분위기 그대로였다. 몇 년 만에 처음으로 프랜차이즈 식당 말고 로컬 식당을 가서 기분이 좋았다.
이 거리에 있는 식당들은 발레파킹을 하던지 유료 주차장에 돈을 지불하고 주차를 해야 했다. 재밌었던 건 수요일 까지는 $5불이었는데 목요일부터는 $10불이 되어있었다 ㅋㅋ 두 배나 뛰어버리다니, 그리고 목요일부터 주말로 들어가는 게 신기했다.
I felt like the entire street was turned into a restaurant and the atmosphere was like a converted American home.
In Korea, there are also many restaurants that have been converted from homes, so it seems like it's the same in the US (or maybe the US did it first? Haha).
It was exactly like the atmosphere I had seen in American dramas and movies. After several years, it felt good to go to a local restaurant instead of a franchise restaurant.
발레파킹하면 나갈 때 5불을 낸다. 이전에는 안 받았다고 했는데 팬데믹 이후로는 돈을 받기 시작했다고 한다.
일반 가정집처럼 생겼는데 앞마당에도 뒷마당에도 다 자리가 있다.
이 날은 약간 쌀쌀해서 안쪽 베란다 테이블에 앉았는데, 날씨 좋을 때 야외 테이블에 앉아도 분위기가 좋을 것 같다.
They charge $5 for valet parking when you leave. They didn't used to charge before, but they started doing it after the pandemic.
The restaurant looks like a regular home, and there is seating available in both the front and backyards.
It was a little chilly that day, so we sat at a table inside the veranda. It would be nice to sit at an outdoor table when the weather is good as well, as it would create a nice atmosphere.
메뉴를 보면서 어떤 재료가 들어가는지 확인하고 음식을 시켰다.
칵테일도 시켜보고, 가격은 오히려 우리동네가 더 비싼 것 같았다.
분위기가 정말 좋았다.
은은한 빛과 해가 지고 있어서 더 분위기 있었다.
I checked the ingredients listed on the menu before ordering my food. We also tried some cocktails, and the prices were actually cheaper than what we have in our neighborhood.
The atmosphere was really great, with the dim lighting and the sunset creating an even more atmospheric ambiance.
하우스 칵테일들도 시켰는데 내가 시킨 칵테일은 도수가 좀 있어서 먹기 힘들었다ㅠㅠ
달달한 거 시킬걸 후회가 된다.

앞에 두 잔은 약간 단맛이 있었는데 내가 시킨건 독한 맛이 났다 ㅎㅎ 체리가 들어가고 스파클링이 있어서 달 줄 알았는데 다음에는 직원에게 물어보고 시켜야겠다.
We also ordered some house cocktails, but the one I chose was a bit strong and difficult to drink. I regretted not ordering something sweeter.
We had the Rosewell Sunrise, T&MSidecar, and Raspberry Beret in that order. The first two were slightly sweet, but the one I ordered had a strong taste with cherries and sparkling, which I thought would make it sweet. Next time, I'll ask the server for a recommendation before ordering.

식사에 있던 배지테이블 플레이스 계절에 맞춰서 음식이 나오는데 네 가지 종류를 맛볼 수 있다.
배지테이블인데 이렇게 맛있어도 되는지, 조금씩 다 맛봤는데 맛이 아주 좋았다.
The vegetable plate we ordered had a selection of four different types of seasonal vegetables and preparations. It was surprising how delicious the vegetables were, despite being a simple vegetable plate. We tried each one, and the flavors were all excellent.
Vegetable plate/catfish/pork chop
내가 먹은건 캣피시(메기)였는데 이제까지 먹었던 캣피시 중에 제일 맛있었다.
자극적이지 않고 적당한 간에 부드러운 소스와 함께 먹으니 이전에 먹던 캣피시는 정말 기본이었구나 싶었다.
밑에 깔려있는 곡류도 맛있고(이름모름) 시래기 식감이 나는 채소 데친 것도 맛있었다.
남편이 시킨 포크 찹은 돼지고긴데 소고기 느낌이 났다.
I had the catfish, and it was the best catfish I've ever had. The sauce was mild and not overpowering, and it complemented the fish very well. It made me realize that the catfish I had eaten before was just average. The grains underneath and the blanched vegetables with a slightly chewy texture (I don't know the name) were also delicious.
My husband ordered the pork chop, which tasted more like beef than pork.

버거의 패티가 아주 빵빵하고 부드러웠다. 육즙이 좔좔, 제일 맛있었던 음식은 MKT fish 생선요리가 이렇게 맛있구나를 느꼈다. 부드러우면서 촉촉한 생선, 로즈웰 가면 또 가야겠다. 다른 음식들도 맛보고 싶다.
The burger patty was very juicy and tender. It was bursting with flavor, but the best dish by far was the MKT fish. I realized how delicious fish could be with its delicate texture and moistness. I'll definitely have to come back to Rosewell again. I want to try all the other dishes too.
저녁 9시쯤이라서 거리의 식당들은 대부분 문을 닫기도 하고 손님들도 없었다. 주중이라서 더 빨리 마감을 한 것 같은 느낌이다. 거리가 예뻐서 사진을 찍었다.
It was around 9 pm, so most of the restaurants on the street were closing and there were no customers. It felt like they were closing earlier than usual because it was a weekday. The street was beautiful, so I took some photos.
