미국생활 멤피스 아점먹으러 가기 [Big Bad Breakfast/B.B.B.] 리뷰

한참 전의 방문이었지만 이제야 리뷰를 작성한다.

3월의 어느 날 5K 마라톤에 참가하고 아점을 먹으러 왔다.

손님이 많아서 1시간 정도 기다렸다.

보기와 다르게 매장안은 길쭉한 구조로 되어있다.

 

It's been a while sine my visit, but I'm finally writing a review now.

One day in March, I participated in a 5K marathon and came to have vrunch afterward.

I had to wait for about an hour due to the large number of customers.

Contrary to expectations, the interior of the store had a long and narrow layout.

다양한 메뉴들이 있으며 가격대가 어느정도 있다.

 

Various menu options were available, and they were priced reasonably.

층고가 아주 높아서 협소한 테이블 공간에 비해 넓게 느껴졌다.

햇빛은 따뜻했는데 날이 추워져서 밖에서 덜덜 떨었다.

안으로 들어와서도 한참을 기다렸다.

 

The high ceiling made the spce feel spacious compared to the limited table area.

The sunlight was warm, but it was chilly outside, so I shivered.

Even after coming inside, I had to wait for a long time.

사람이 많아서 테이블 두 군데에 나눠 앉았는데 자리가 생각보다 오래되어 보였다.

콘셉트인지 몰라도 옛날 영화에서 본 것 만 같은 테이블이었다.

 

The place was crowded, so I had to sit at one of the divided tables, which seemed worn out more than i expected.

Whether it was intentional or not, the tables resembled something straight out of an old movie.

남편이 시킨 건 블래퍼스트 플레이트 

계란 두 개와 사이드를 추가로 시킬 수 있다.

내가 시킨 건 Big bad skillet, 지인이 시킨 건 yard work였다.

다른 지인은 나와 같은 Big bad skillet이라서 생략 ㅎㅎ

 

My husband ordered the breakfast plate, which came with the option to add two eggs and a side.

I chose the Big Bad Skillet, and a fried ordered the yard Work.

 

지인은 추가금을 내고 팬케이크 하나를 추가했다.

자리에 앉기까지 오래 걸렸는데 먹는 건 순식간에 끝났다.

메뉴들은 사이드를 하나정도 추가할 수 있어서 좋았다.

 

My friend paid extra to add a pancake. 

It took a while to be seated, but the meal itself was over in a flash.

It was great that the menu allowed for the addition of one side dish or so.

확실히 오랜만에 하는 외식이기도 하지만 다른 곳에서 먹었을 때보다 가격에 비해 양이 적다고 느껴졌다.

보통 다른 식당에서 밥 먹으면 남기는 경우가 많았는데 하나도 남기지 않고 다 먹었다.

한 번쯤은 가서 먹을만한 식당 갔다.

 

Indeed, it had been a while since we dined out, but compared to other places i've eaten, the portion seemed smaller for the price.

Typically, I leace food uneaten at other restaurants, but this time I finished everything on my plate.

It's a restaurant worth visitnig at least once.

 

특유의 분위기를 느끼고 싶다면 추천한다.
